Come join in a night of revelry with Behold the Brave as they release their new EP, Sunrise//Sunset, at Songbird's South Stage. Enjoy music from two of Chattanooga's finest bands while savoring drinks from a fantastically delicious Chattanooga brewery, Heaven & Ale. The night is sponsored by three wonderful Chattanooga institutions: Feed Co. Table and Tavern, Tremont Tavern and Heaven & Ale, so you know it's bound to be the best Friday night of 2018!"Sprung out of the mountains of Tennessee, Behold the Brave was formed when Clayton Davis, Zack Randolph and Jeremiah Thompson started playing music together in college. The quintessence of their sound is berthed between the abiding music of their rock and roll predecessors and the path that they themselves trail-blaze undaunted. On their upcoming release, Sunrise//Sunset, Behold the Brave have refined their amalgam of influences into five spellbinding songs that evoke the life that they want to share with others; A life full of exuberance and good times."
Support: Marcus White (former keyboard player for Soul Mechanic, has played with Marcus King Band and Tauk) will be opening with his solo project 'Killakeyz'.
Hailing from Woodbridge, VA, Marcus White is an eclectic musician well-versed in jazz, funk and gospel. Though a multi-instrumentalist, Marcus' weapon of choice is keys. His virtuosity has provided him with opportunities to play with many well-known acts including the Marcus King Band and Tauk. In his first solo venture 'Killakeyz', a nickname that he obtained due to his reputation for "killing it" every time he plays, Marcus is joined by frequent collaborators Parrish Gabriel (Bass) and Jared White (Drums), both musical giants in their own right. The amalgamation of their abilities results in a remarkably funky and masterful good time.
