Colortest Holidaze - New Madrid, T Hardy Morris, & Psychic Dungeon

Songbirds South | Doors: 8 PM | 18+ only Colortest presents our Sixth Annual Holidaze gathering!   Join us for an evening of music and holiday celebration at Songbirds in Southside Chattanooga.  All proceeds from this event will benefit The Forgotten Child Fund and Soundcorps.  The Forgotten Child Fund is based in Chattanooga's Highland park neighborhood. Chartered in 1965 as a non-profit charitable organization, FCF is sponsored by the Chattanooga Fire and Police Departments assisting needy families and their children at Christmas.  Soundcorps is a 501c(3) nonprofit dedicated to growing the music economy in the Chattanooga region. Established in early 2015, Soundcorps devotes our energy to building local music industry infrastructure and professional expertise through ongoing programs, events and initiatives. Holidaze will feature performances by: New Madrid - Based in Athens, GA and formed in Chattanooga, TN. Playing over 500 shows since their inception in 2011, they are a live force to be reckoned with. They’ve released 3 full length albums and 1 live E.P. On their last record, Magnetkingmagnetqueen, they eschewed a chiller iteration of psychedelic rock and pop, flirting with songs sharper, murkier and more decidedly post punk. T Hardy Morris - His latest album, "Dude, The Obscure" was released in June 2018. T Hardy Morris and his band supported southern rockers Drive By Truckers on tour this fall.  "Dude, the Obscure is neither a book report nor a history lesson, neither a concept album about professional disappointment nor a literary song cycle. Rather, it plays like a meditation on rock’n’roll in midlife, by an artist who might be nursing lowered expectations or even gaping emotional wounds but not diminished artistic ambitions." - Pitchfork  Psychic Dungeon - Chattanooga's secret super group
