Doors: 6PM | All Ages Featuring Jake Durkin Jake Durkin is a Nashville-based singer-Songwriter from Boston, MA. Hestarted writing songs at the age of 6 when he started learning piano. Overthe following 19 years, Jake taught himself guitar, drums, bass, andtrumpet. Jake relocates to Nashville in 2016 (at the age of 22) to bearound the best songwriters in the world and, since then, has written over1,500 songs. Recently Jake has been working with Operation Song. Writingsongs with children whose fathers lost their lives in Afghanistan andIraq.Durkin, now 25, works as a writer, performer, and producer in a widevariety of genres. He has toured and performed in 40 of the 50 states aswell as Shanghai, China, where he won the International Arts Festival forhis performance of his song “If You Need Me.” He was also featured inseason 2 of the American Idol reboot.His music could best be described as a fusion between John Mayer, theLumineers, and Leon Bridges. Pop-folk with soul. Durkin has opened for thefollowing acts: AER, B.O.B., T-Pain, and Little Big Town. You can findJake performing with his band in Nashville at places like: Margaritaville,The Sutler, Alley Taps, Tin Roof, Frisky Frogs, the Basement, The Local,and the Listening Room. Featuring Hunter Girl  Hunter Girl is a twenty year old country singer-songwriter from Winchester, Tennessee. She hasbeen performing since the age of three at her grandfather’s church and started writing her own music atthe age of nine. She has performed at music venues all over the southeast including Tennessee,Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, and Florida. Hunter attends Middle Tennessee State University where sheis studying Recording Industry Management and Music Business. She currently works in downtownNashville on Broadway as a performer for Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Rippy’s Bar and Grill, and HonkyTonk Central. She was the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown Winner for the state of Tennessee at theyoung age of sixteen, and she also won the 2016 and 2017 NSAI Songwriter Contest where she openedup for artists such as: Old Dominion, Alan Jackson, Florida Georgia Line, and Kane Brown at the CountryStampede in Manhattan, Kansas.Hunter also won the 2017 Nash Next Competition for 107.9 Nash Icon radio station inChattanooga, Tennessee. This event highlighted upcoming country music artists and their own originalmusic. She also works with Operation Song, a non-profit organization where professional songwriters andmusicians work with veterans, active military and their families to help them tell their stories through song.With her strong work ethic and passion for music, Hunter hopes to one day reach her dream ofperforming on stage at the Grand Ole Opry and being recognized as one of Nashville’s finest countrymusic singers and songwriters.
